IPL Highlights

The Indian Premier League is like a carnival to the Indian Cricket fans. It gets organized in April-May every year and goes on for about a couple of months. Warne to work with Australian spinners before World T20

Shane Warne has been asked by Cricket Australia to impart his knowledge on the spin bowlers who have been selected in the Kangaroo team for the World T20 Championship. The current Australian coach Darren Lehmann is understood to be very close to Warne and the reports are coming through that it was his influence that brought Warne on board. However, the legendary leg spinner has confirmed that he hasn’t been signed for a permanent role and he will be with the Australian squad only till the completion of the World T20 Championship. Joker Cards (Right to Match) in IPL auction

In the IPL 7 auction, the franchises will have a special power i.e. ‘Right to Match’. They can use that power only on the players who were in their squad in the last edition of IPL. The no. of times that a franchise can use ‘Right to Match’ depends on how many players have been retained by that particular franchise. The franchises retaining 3-5 players can use the RTM only once, the franchises retaining 1 or 2 players can use the RTM twice and the franchises retaining no player can use the RTM thrice.
